Geelong Osteo is a new osteopathy clinic opening in Geelong and the surrounding suburbs of the Bellarine and Surf Coast, VIC in the coming months, with a whole-body approach to treatment.

Geelong Osteo is being set up to serve Geelong and the surrounding suburbs of the Bellarine and Surf Coast, VIC directly, with the aim of making osteopathy easy to reach no matter which part of the region you’re in.

The clinic takes a whole-body approach to treatment. Rather than looking at a single sore spot in isolation, the osteopath assesses how your joints, muscles and connective tissue work together, since pain in one area often traces back to restriction or strain somewhere else. Treatment combines hands-on techniques such as joint mobilisation and soft tissue work with practical advice on movement and exercise.

Once open, the clinic will offer treatment for back pain, neck pain, headaches and migraines, sports injuries and a broader range of osteopathy services, including care for babies and children.

Most private health funds with extras cover include a rebate for osteopathy, which can help bring down your out-of-pocket cost, though the amount depends on your policy.
